Please join us at the Hall for our first public meeting about our upcoming Neighbourhood Renewal. We are seeking YOUR input on streets, drainage, sidewalks, and lighting. Hope you will join us!
We are in the very beginning stage of our neighbourhood redevelopment. We have some exciting challenges ahead, and it will be tough to wait for the final result--but we are on our way.
There will be an important upcoming PUBLIC meeting, and details will be posted as soon as the date is set. We hope to have all our residents join us, and provide feedback.
In the meantime, we have started an email address specific to redevelopment. Should you have specific concerns with the Neighbourhood redevelopment, or comments and suggestions please contact us; mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org
Terrific turnout to our first Pancake Breakfast, so excited to have hosted so many that joined us! Above is a shot of our 'Celebrity Chefs' Mr. Ray Martin and Mr. Dave Eggen.
I hope everyone enjoyed the morning. And a tremendous thank you to all the helping hands -- you really made the day perfect!
Happy Community League Day!
I would like to thank everyone who joined us this evening for our Marshmallow Roast, we sincerely hope you had a great time! A special shout out to the volunteers of Westwood Community League - you make great things possible. As well as a big thanks to Alberta Avenue Community League for their generous offer of their summer swim times, and The Rat Creek Press for their advertising.
For those who may have missed, we hope to catch you at our next event, and should you need anything in the mean time please contact us.
Just as we celebrated a terrific start to summer with our Marshmallow Roast, we also received some fantastic news; the triangle park will now be officially named Lorne Larsen Park! I can't begin to say just how pleased I am to hear about this, and to honour a man who gave so much.
We now await word on the park funding, so please keep an eye out for updates.
Cheers everyone, great news!
