Westwood SummerFest and Car Show!![]() ✨New for 2025: Inaugural Rick Goebel Memorial Show n' Shine hosted by Westwood Community League 🚗💨 Date: July 2025 Time: TBD Location: Westwood Community Hall The warm days of July might seem far away now, but they're really just around the corner! This year's Westwood SummerFest promises to be bigger and better than ever! We'll have everything you've come to know and love, including food, entertainment, and community spirit - but for 2025 we have an extra special addition in mind... Westwood SummerFest 2025 will add a Show n' Shine honouring Rick Goebel, a lifelong Edmontonian born and raised in the Westwood area that left a lasting positive influence on everyone he met. The show will feature Rick's automotive pride and joy - a showroom quality 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS 350 in Royal Plum - an extremely rare factory original purple colour, as well as many other classic cars, tuners, and hot-rods from Westwood and beyond! If you or someone you know has a great car they would like to show for free this July, start thinking about attending now! |
ODR (Outdoor Rink) Free Hockey Program
![]() Free Equipment Provided! 🏒 ⛸️ 🏆 Date: Tuesday or Wednesday Evenings A group of north central neighbourhoods have joined together to run a free program for kids 6 - 12 to learn to skate and play hockey. They have extended an invitation to Westwood residents as we do not have an outdoor rink (ODR). To join, register online at [email protected]. The nearest outdoor rink (ODR) to Westwood is located in the Spruce Avenue neighbourhood and there is room for additional participants. |

Did you know: Reporting a problem property in your area using the City of Edmonton's online form is a confidential way to share your concerns?
The Problem Property Initiative addresses highly problematic occupied and unoccupied properties in Edmonton that generate frequent and serious complaints and/or safety concerns. Through the coordinated efforts of multiple City departments, the Edmonton Police Service, Alberta Health Services, and the Government of Alberta, several specialty teams present a united and consistent approach to the complex issues associated with problem properties.
