Our Mission

Our aim is to foster a secure and welcoming neighborhood through the provision of initiatives and resources that foster strong bonds among families and community members. Additionally, we serve as a voice for the community, advocating for their needs and interests.

Our Role

The role of a Community League is to:

• Speak on behalf of its members
• Report on behalf of all its residents
• Bring neighbours together
• Provide recreational/social programs
• Develop amenities
• Represent community interests to government and other organizations

Community Leagues are a unique feature of Edmonton - there are currently 161 leagues!

Do I have to be a member?

No! The League exists to support and represent all residents of Westwood.
